Every body knew I never left reading loveletters to me and its obvious filmy song of Shahrukh Khan Inspired me too much to reach Dhakalthok on time.I with friends practiced too much to write best one.My granny in kitchen prepared the prasad for me and I read the letters one by one there. We visited Gairikhoriya to have Satyanarayan puja prasad there with our cousin.

PRASAD AT DHAKATLTHOK HOME PREPARED BY GRANNY

Prasad  is made from  banana ,semolina (rava/ sooji), sugar, pure ghee, milk ,basil leaves etc .satyanarayan mahaprasad recipe is similar to the recipe of sheera /halwa, the only difference is banana and basil leaves (tulsi ) is added in Satyanarayan prasad.  This prasad  made from banana tastes really good and I make it even when we don’t have puja at home. In North India Halwa Puri is served during navratri ashtami & navmi, at that time you can make this halwa for prasad with or without adding banana.

Step by Step Directions to Make Satyanarayan prasad

  1. Mix water and milk in a container and bring it to boil.
  2. Roast cashew nuts, charoli (chironji) for 1 minute in a pan with a teaspoon of ghee in it . now add raisins in it and roast for few seconds ,now remove it from heat .you can also roast this nuts and raisins in microwave with or without ghee for 40-50 seconds.
  3. Roast the semolina in a heavy bottom pan until it becomes very light. (Basically the moisture should evaporate and each particle should get roasted nicely) remove it from the pan.
  4. Add ½ cup ghee in the same pan add basil leaves in the ghee  .Add the roasted semolina to it and roast it again  until the semolina get light pink in color-and the basil leaves becomes crispy. now add chopped banana to it roast it again with banana .after some time banana will start melting .make the heat low and Add the boiling water &milk mixture to this roasted mixture and mix it properly and close the lid of the pan for 1- 2 minutes .
  5. Now Add sugar in to it .mix it properly and cover the lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6.  Open the lid .Add cardamom powder , saffron(kesar)  and the remaining ghee to it .now remove the pan from the heat . and garnish it with roasted raisins and nuts .
  7. Satyanarayan  Prasad (Prasadam) is ready for offering (bhog/ navaidayam) to Shree Satyanarayana (lord vishnu)
Notes
  • Roast the semolina nicely otherwise your  Satyanarayana Prasad will taste sticky.
  • Some people add pinch of edible camphor to this Satyanarayan Maha-Prasad  especially in south India  it taste really good .
  • If you’re using fine semolina (rava or sooji) this quantity of water milk is ok. But if your using coarse semolina add extra ½ cup milk in the water- milk mixture, prasad will become very dry.
  • You can store Satyanarayan Prasad in fridge for 3-4 days.
  • LOVE LETTERS FORMAT TO HUBBY
Women aren't the only ones who love receiving love letters from their husbands or partners; men are also thrilled to receive these written tokens of affection. Don't worry, you don't have to write a fancy poem or a lengthy treatise in order to express your feelings in a heartfelt way.

A little note that conveys how you feel does not have to be a huge project. Nor does it need to be pages long. In fact, some of the best love letters may be only a few sentences long.

A short love letter can have the same effect as a lengthy one as long as your heart is in it. Below are some samples of short love letters written for your husband or the man in your life. I hope these provide inspiration as you think about composing a love letter to your special someone. Remember, love letters can be for a special occasion—or just because you love someone you like by heart.

I just started practising song too for him.My practice in Dhakalthok started being in flavor sauted in variety of words of English Language.

SONG WE LISTENED WITH DRUM SET IN DHAKALTHOK WITH GRANNY

You know you love me, I know you care
Just shout whenever, and I'll be there
You are my love, you are my heart
And we would never ever ever be apart

Are we an item? Girl, quit playing
We're just friends, what are you saying?
Say there's another and look right in my eyes
My first love broke my heart for the first time
And I was like...

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

Oh, for you I would have done whatever
And I just can't believe we ain't together
And I wanna play it cool, but I'm losin' you
I'll buy you anything, I'll buy you any ring
And I'm in pieces, baby fix me
And just shake me 'til you wake me from this bad dream
I'm going down, down, down, down
And I just can't believe my first love won't be around

And I'm like
Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

[Ludacris:]
Luda! When I was 13, I had my first love,
There was nobody that compared to my baby
And nobody came between us or could ever come above
She had me going crazy, oh, I was star-struck,
She woke me up daily, don't need no Starbucks.
She made my heart pound, it skipped a beat when I see her in the street and
At school on the playground but I really wanna see her on the weekend.
She knows she got me dazing cause she was so amazing
And now my heart is breaking but I just keep on saying...

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

I'm gone (Yeah Yeah Yeah, Yeah Yeah Yeah)
Now I'm all gone (Yeah Yeah Yeah, Yeah Yeah Yeah)
Now I'm all gone (Yeah Yeah Yeah, Yeah Yeah Yeah)
Now I'm all gone (gone, gone, gone...)
I'm gone
STORY OF LORD SHIVA AT DHAKALTHOK HOME GRANNY DESCRIBED TO US

Granny ,again starts her mythic story of Lord Shiva to me
Lord Shiva is one of the most powerful Hindu Gods and known by many other names – Mahadeva, Mahayogi, Natraja, and Bhole Shankar. He is also referred as Tryambaka for the third eye, placed on his forehead. It is the eye of wisdom, free from “Maya”, the illusion, and duality of life. It looks beyond the obvious with clear perception, and shows one what is true.

In the Brahmanda Purana when the wandering sage Narada tells Shiva about Vishnu's Mohini form that deluded the demons, Shiva dismisses him. Shiva and his wife Parvati go to Vishnu's home. Shiva asks him to take on the Mohini form again so he can see the actual transformation for himself. Vishnu smiles, again meditates on the Goddess, and in place of Vishnu stands the gorgeous Mohini. Overcome by lust, Shiva chases Mohini as Parvati hangs her head in shame and envy. Shiva grabs Mohini's hand and embraces her, but Mohini frees herself and runs further. Finally, Shiva grabs her and their "violent coupling" leads to discharge of Shiva's seed which falls "short of its goal," suggesting the act was not consummated. The seed falls on the ground and the god Maha-Shasta ("The Great Chastiser") is born. Mohini disappears, while Shiva returns home with Parvati.

Burning Kamadeva to Ashes for Waking Shiva From Meditation

It is believed the first time Shiva opened his third eye was when he was enraged by the death of his first wife, Sati. Even when Sati was reborn as Parvati, he wouldn’t come out of meditation. Only when Kamdeva struck his sugar coated arrow of love to awaken Shiva’s love, did he wake. But so infuriated was he with Kamdeva, for disturbing him that he opened his third eye to burn Kamdeva to ashes.

For Lighting Up The World When Parvati Closed His Eyes, And Darkness Descended Upon The Universe

There is one more story of Shiva opening his third eye. It is believed that one day Parvati closed Shiva’s eyes and the universe went dark. Shiva had to open his third eye to provide light and energy to the world. Heat from his third caused Parvati’s hand to perspire and a drop fell on the ground from her hand, which transformed into a child.

It was boy and they named him Andhaka. He was adopted by a Shiva devotee Asura. Andhaka was blessed with a boon – death would only come to him when he desired for a women he shouldn’t.
Once he came across Parvati, and completely smitten by her beauty, he chased her and got killed by Shiva.

The turf between Shiva and God Indra

There is one more incident that compelled Shiva to open his third eye. Once Indra and Brihaspati went to Kailash to meet Lord Shiva. Knowing that lord Shiva was going to test them, by disguising as an ascetic, Indra attacked Shiva with his Vajra, which made Shiva ferocious, and he opened his third eye. God Indra was saved by Brihaspati’s prayers.

Lord Shiva had to direct his third eye towards the ocean and it gave birth to a child named Jalandhara.
Here the third eye is used as an epitome of destructive anger, resulting from one’s impulsive nature and lack of patience.

After performing difficult tapasaya for years, Pippalada became successful in seeing the third eye of Shiva. Soon, a demon appeared from Shiva’s third eye and attacked Pippalada first. When shocked Pippalada confronted Shiva, he was told that his own body was made up of Gods. Shiva was then able to convince Pippalada to forget about revenge as it would not bring back his father.
This time, Shiva’s third eye represented the path to righteousness. It indicated the futility of overwhelming emotions and vengeance.

Story of Granny and Dhakalthok never ends at all ,its just beginning of Grandma kitchen to her stories in Dhakalthok home. She started cooking selrotee.
