Local Chicken in Winter

Buini sanchai,ke kamale aaunubhako thiyo, asked the lady near the door, the eyes with question engulfed my body posture and started making a sense of belatedness as it was evening.I was very late to reach the home, she was short in height and was the proficient in rural language to welcome guest I noticed she prepared the meal in such manner I just loved and noted down the recipe when she kept on showing the items available in her kitchen and backyard garden, and nearby green grocery .

Masu bhanepachhi, local khukurako bhanepchi mitho hunchhha,I realized her intension of having local chicken roasted souted at home and I loved she explained ,chhhya chhhya chhya, kasto phohor pasalko khana ta,she was right she was good at everything ,perfect at cooking, cleaning and welcoming guests .Hernus buini, she started her narratives from her old age and my mind became more active to listen her tone of speaking ,she dealt about her bakra, kukhura and her best food recipes. She started cooking and I just made a list of ingredients in my notebook.

2.5 cups boneless local chicken, cooked and shredded 1 small onion, chopped 1 small tomato, chopped 2-3 red or green chili, chopped 5-6 cilantro leaves, chopped 1 tablespoon oil 1.5 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon chili powder (skip this if you like mild flavor) 3 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice  salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste  .

– In a bowl combine chicken, onion, tomato, chili – In a small bowl, mix oil, cumin powder, chili powder and lemon juice. – Pour it over chicken mixture then add cilantro leaves. – Adjust seasonings and leave it in the refrigerator covered for about 30 minutes so it marinates better.

Obviously, people love local chicken during winter as  the protein in chicken lends itself to muscle growth and development, and help support a healthy body weight and aid weight loss. Chicken soup, chicken stew, chicken chili, chicken breast on salad…chicken in almost any form is great for your health.

Dhakalthok 'Home

Dhakalthok Home is very beautiful,a memo of our grandfather who spent his life there till he died and we celebrate Dhakalthok home as temple,a home where all relatives gather seeing grandfather and grandmom and discuss about the life span.Everybody knows everybody else, their family, and their ancestors. Often the communities are interlinked by marriage too.Anyway the home is where the relatives stand together and have the enjoyment of being together.

Home has greatest value in life because it has the link to the memory we have in life and celebration of lifestyle is matter of prestidge too. With relatives, you also have the advantage of knowing a lot about your caregiver's past and personal habits. One of the things that most worries parents who use other forms of care is that the "strangers" who watch and nurture their children all day long will teach them the caregiver's own set of values, which may or may not complement what kids are being taught at home.

As a family we spend most of the day preparing the house by cleaning and decorating it before the evening party begins. The evening party is a welcomed excuse for family and friends to come together, enjoy a varied and plentiful selection of flavor some dishes and dance the night away. The house becomes a beacon of light and merriment full of laughter, music and fireworks that mark the celebration, there is a broad variety of different dishes! It’s just that, at the end of the day, they end up back at their Dal Bhat,a huge load of rice and lentils hauled up the hill on your back is more than enough.

I like listening to ghost stories and I wanted to get to know a bit more about our culture. One of the stories granny told us about was this parade of floating fire balls. For example this would happen when someone dies, the experience difficulty expressing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences and to externalize their oppressive experiences. There are many more things we gathered to hear from our granny whose unclear voice presents with gesture everyday there. My granny and her Dhakalthok home has lots of narratives which are concealed and unleashed till now which I love when she suggests the ideas fluently with her smile.

Maya Di ,A Hidden Star

I had been consulting my Maya didi for multiple stories and she starts her story of God Shivaji ,the katha of Lord Shiva and her fasting during festivals. It is  really interesting to hear her social works around Bhaktapur areas and her extreme dedication to locality, she spent her most of the time in family settings, business and promotion of womanhood nearby and I just love her pictures associating about her personal life .

I do not remember her ever saying that something was delicious, or licking her fingers after scraping something tasty from the bottom of the pan. She made no effort to teach my sister or me to cook. In the name of self-sufficiency, we once included a knitting pattern on the centre spread and were completely taken aback when the phone started ringing and women kept ordering more copies of the pattern. But cooking, in our minds, was wholly frivolous and politically dangerous, an activity that represented everything we were trying to change.

She kept on narrating west Nepal she spent and her journey with kids and I love the narration ,her stories of Mugling food items, bus services,Ambukhairani Stops and the business part of west Nepal were informative as they gave the ideas to visit those areas in need.At the age of fourteen she got married and kept on doing business for family and still she stands as local leader in Bhaktapur. She has deliberate skills of livelihood and earning at home based jobs and I loved her daily guidance.

Her narrative  forces you to delve into the specific emotions tied to a particular event, giving you a chance to revisit strong feelings. Her each word about an important event also helps you recall even the minute details, ensuring that you will remember it for years to come. You love sisterhood and enjoy your life fully.

Lazy Bone Laxmi

The picture is taken by hubby in Syangja home,I just love the picture  as it is the best.I was just cleaning the dishes, he clicked on my agreement.Oh my god, in the cold morning of winter you are trying to work very lazily and laziness symbolizes you much. You are born lazy ,work lazily and derive the name lazy everywhere. You feel ,your are icon of lazy and you keep on clicking the days throughout the entire details like comments in facebook, you know your own laziness is your archetypal defination and camera state with you.You are the maniac throughout the life and the moments of such comments make you feel you are being more lethargic day by day.

I remember my childhood days how we spent most of the time teasing teachers in class and laughed too much. The days of celebration of teachers day came and we start commenting about lazy teachers in classes how much they sleep ,our focus was on the gesture they had rather than the teaching lesson and our curriculumn was based on lecture .We kept on making our teachers more active by commenting them lazy and keeping books closed all the time and rather enjoyed chat ,chutney and other tasty items in a corner. When my teachers start lessons of victim I felt they are voice and they define themselves for victimized as narration stands for voices from various areas of humanity, human history stands for human beings to corelate the incidents in newer ways.

The enjoyment of commenting is a long history.I got realization when critical reading came as the major focus  in my curriculumn of Bachelor third level as defined Education Ministery of Nepal ,I realized why we should comment and the ways to comment about major texts of the English,it was English which I had to define in new ways and I kept on focusing on colors and pictures but the youtube vidoes, wikipedia and google made me more packed in the runway of the books mandala around me.I remember a book collector in college time whose house became the book house till his death and  condolence letters about his death in facebook  consists of book collector rather than a status of a teacher.

There are many stories of Lazy bone and food item make one lazy too. When my defination of being lazy, maniac and hatti starts I start clicking pictures and keep on sorting out the best out to upload everyday after cropping, editing and shadowing with the exact location I get on the targetted areas of facebook  and the interest of being defined work in facebook when 75 comments occur and I feel the best feeling .One my uncle aged of 75 is seriously sick and I just conveyed the message to needy one and the commentator started commenting you are interfering,so sometimes laziness benefits much as you disturb none .

A valid reason of being lazy is not defined but I know the dictionary does not regard it as a positive term and the minute details help nothing and textual interpretation of the terminology fails when barrier of language work too much to me.I am a non proficient English speaker tried to state what does the lazy mean but still the problem exists in my dictionary of defining myself.I kept on playing with laoptop and musical instruments as they state my status much.

The monotonus lectures about social inclusion and revoltuions around the world, each header and footer in Kantipur Newspaper, the warm day of Kirtipur and the hot tea cup has been Lazy bone Laxmi day by day and still the black fonts with 12 sized written in Times New Roman in any blog create a questionable blanket of image of me and I just keep on inserting the input and output resolves nothing, the vacant eyes of the cat near me for food ,the pamerlo on the sack of premimum Basmati rice and the bed made of Salla kath has been commenting ,you are lazy bone Laxmi.

Thuthuno

Jab ham khate hai ,to wo khana hamare muh se hote huye amasay tak pahuchti hai,the science teacher demonstrates many things about our systems in body, he starts with his linking statement ,the mouth is the beginning of the digestive tract. In fact, digestion starts here as soon as you take the first bite of a meal. Chewing breaks the food into pieces that are more easily digested, while saliva  mixes with food to begin the process of breaking it down into a form your body can absorb and use.The stomach is a sac-like organ with strong muscular walls. In addition to holding the food, it's also a mixer and grinder. The stomach secretes acid and powerful enzymes that continue the process of breaking down the food. When it leaves the stomach, food is the consistency of a liquid or paste. From there the food moves to the small intestine, from where to from the stomach is broken down even further with the help of juices produced by three important organs: the pancreas, liver, and gall bladder. These organs produce special  digestive  juices that help your body absorb all the vitamins and nutrients from the food you eat.

The science  teacher keeps on explaining and I keep on moving from first bench to second bench with girls and he orders me to stand in bench for my  childish movement. The lesson finishes and  there comes Brajesh Kumar Singh , a teacher from Bihar who describes the incident of Berlin with gesture and the incident of having cows with thutuno on the road of Lucknow-Patna area ,I love  the phrase ,hamare yaha guamataye to thutuno nikalte huye sadak lucknow ke sadak pe ghumti rahtee hai ,lekin Berlin mai kuchh nahi hai, the sense of dislocatedness starts with the available facilities there in Berlin where there is no loadshedding ,no cows on the road disturbing traffic, no late comers in office like in India. The best term thutuno is the suitable to my option for reading a lot of life experiences at home.

Being a part of rural community , I always heard the term thutuno, comic serials like Meri Bassei on Nepal Television  in weekends  which always had a package of such rural terminologies which I love  to oserve as they are presented with   bodily expression. An old woman scolding a daughter ,hera na tesko thutuno, quite interesting when it states the facial expression  of a person in rural terminologies.Although used in anger ,this term has the significance as it relates with cow too when a writer refers to thutuno of Gaumata in his Hindi text about Berlin.Although expressed in anger to humiliate someone or and referring ironical status of someone in your life ,this term plays a base to exaggerate the gesture.

Whole day , I have been serfing about Graphic narratives and Comic narratives but the expression as new version to lament something or express new version of truth remains a matter of question.A full text with words ,pictures and gestural version of reality has lot of spices to deal in life and comic representation of characters carry lots of unsound message which remains openended until the lock is broken with a newer version of key and denoting the meaning out of controversy carries lots of contradictory meanings prevalent in terms like thutuno.

I heard some body running after creole version of language with the network of Lacan,Bloom,Freud and Nussabum and biopolitics through , which the speed horse named language as the thutono is tied at the body of philosophy ,so called status  of border with identity politics from frontier to margin, binary terms to monolithic expression or versatile definition of the confused ,anarchy of archetype version of terms used in oral and written version to interrelate with typography to expressibility ,narrativeness to visual representaion and mythic dimension of the advance technique everything play with terms and I make a pickle of thutuno ,with the salt of rural language, variety of languages like Nepali,Hindi and Urdu and try to focus like a foolish  in play of falsehood.

Thutuno , a term for years have been confusing a lot  and I just keep on gazing in field whether like the cow my expression too has the similarities ,is the difference  in fact works as border for similarity or just an identical representation of the language signifiers which has the chains in philosophy to lyrical words, visual world and sound analysis.

Love Song

Purano dunga pani ko chal
par garu kasari
uni chin pari tarera launa
bhetu ma kasari
ho...bhetu ma kasari
purano dunga.....

bidhi le yesto anyaye gari
jhukyayo malai
ho..bidhi le yesto anyaye gari
jhukyayo malai
eutai mutu dui tukra pari
chutyayo malai
charkidai gayo bichod ko ghau
sahu ma kasari
ho....sahu ma kasari
purano dunga....

priyesi bina yo jindagani

ho....priyesi bina yo jindagani
k chalna sakcha ra ho
huri ko samu aasha ko jyoti
k balna sakcha ra
mali bina ko jangali phul jhai
phulu ma kasari
ho...phulu ma kasari
purano dunga....

The song by Karna Das has lots of stories in it and I love the lyrics most ,standing nearby Bhumahi river towads the forest I just start singing the song when I love to swim in this rivers. We girls just visit the forest areas nearby Bhuamahi river where we just play with water resource and the beautiful location for leisure time has lots of significance in my life.At the moment you love Karnadas nearby you in mobile apps singing the songs of love.

The silence speed of Bhumahi River ,the loud trees with their remarks on the waterflow of Bhumahi river ,the silent voice of temple Baba Bardgoria with speakers like green leaves of forest with smiles and the rhythemic water flow keeps on making me crazy on the sites of Bhuamhi river.I just become nostalgic when a bird knocks my heart to deal with the tiny fish in riverside and speed of grass like a green blanket to relate the song of love by Karndas. The commentary given by the local insects with the mild voice about the forest to create a graphic novel through visual package makes me more crazy day by day.Sometimes the book of Science of Grade Ten helped me too to sleep alone in the sites of Tharha Ban from Bhumahi river and I woke up during evening time and found nobody there and returned home.

Of course love song relate us with our love life and we keep on loving our self and our  this self is concerned in beings around us and we try to  be superb in our  own eyes and the story keeps on changing due to space and time and we get the serial events in return and singer like Karnadas resembles our heart as if  they analyze our minds. We start narrating our love stories in unlimited version and the dumbness of ethics state our mind as if we are statue at the margin line of time and the changes highlights our lyrics of love through blank spaces of our life which creates sensation all the time.

The confusion of being loved never ends as the inputs of mind, facebook and text keep on dwelling with the pictorial edition of nature in our heart ,we keep on playing with mute sound of the heartbeat locating our self in visual images around and try to inherit the output which is non sense of what is called sanity in our self .So ,different representations of love song can bee seen in diverse form but the exactness is lost in my conscious mind and I just remember the tree near to Tharha Ban on the way to Bhumahi River which questions me why you gets lost all the time in the realm of insanity.

Batauli Bajar And Batuk Chukauni

Nani Ghar Timro Katna ho ni, asked the old man behind me .I just told I lived in Sukhanagar ,area of Batauli, he smiled at me and started narrating his past experiences. He was from Arghakhachi District and used to come to Khasyauli area to collect salt on foot ,he described every incident how he with friends had to arrive in Batuali for basic needs on foot.I love the narrations about the roadsides up Butwal area from Arghakhachi and taste of batuk ,the dish with chutney he used to have during journey with friends as snacks there on the way to Batauli,  his details like the economy of Butwal centers around trade, services and industries, the old trading districts are Traffic Chowk, B P Chowk, Amarpath and Nepalgunj Road and besides modern shopping, a traditional form of market called Haat Bazar runs twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

It is really interesting when you travel the areas you stay and communicate with people on the bus during long journey like Kathmandu to Butwal ,so the old man had lots of experiences of doing shopping local areas of Butwal and his story related with Devdah, the most historical religious site of Nepal is situated 13 km east of Butwal and is known as the maternal home of lord Gautam Buddha,Gurung Dada because Gurungs were buried here and Siddha Baba Temple, which will grant devotees  their wishes and  who offer pigeons at the temple and development of Butwal as newly emerged urban area .

Anyway when he was dealing with different issues about Butwal I felt ,he was a live radio who had lots of stories of the city named Batyauli and I loved to note down .The description about Palpali Batuk I loved most and tried at home too.Batuk roti is made from black lentils (kalo maas) and I have written recipe to make batuk at home with chukauni.Palpa roadside travel from Pokhara to  Butwal makes me more happy to have the taste there and when momma prepares same food at home I just feel happy .I love the old friend from Arghakhachi who relate with me Butwal and Batuk on the way and started singing the song of Butwal,Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera is song based on Nepali women’s great festival ‘Haritalika Teej’ directed by Gaurab Giri.

Dhukha kasta na gari
U meri kali auncha bhani
Kurichin meri huna baali
Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Maela kamar bachako le
Timila geet gaye
Maela kamar bachako le
Timila geet gaye
Phohor sal teej ma
Sab ko jodhi auda
Mero mann ko raja le
Chutti na pauda
Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye……

Arghakhanchi aaye
Maela kamar bachako le
Timila geet gaye
Maela kamar bachako le
Timila geet gaye
Shiva ji lai pujya chhu
Unako satha pau bhani
Teej ma sagai nachana
Manaki chu au bhanera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye……
Na paye ni teej ma
Phohor satha auna bhani
Barta basako chhu
Kali ko satha pauna
Arghakhanchi aaye
Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Maela talli thokeka le
Timila geet gaye
Maela talli thokeka le
Timila geet gaye
Hey bhagawan purae daau
Unko mero dhoko
Aja samma bhet huda
Kati yo mann roko
Arghakhanchi aaye
Arghakhanchi aaye butwal chhodera
Arghakhanchi aaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye
Timi kamar bachako le
Maela geet gaye…………

After his song he sang on the way I just noted down every details of recipe about the food and started looking at him,he was very happy to demonstrate his ability to sing a song like a local bard and I felt his vocal chords were helping him due to his regular singing practice. All the passengers praised his voice and  I just typed down the recipe in hurry on my laptop .Whenever anyone starts narrating the incident of Batauli I just remember Batuk and the old man who still sings lyrics of  Butwal Arghakhachi .

Ingredients
  • FOR BATUK:
  • 1 cup mixed lentil (equal portion of black, red, green (mung), yellow lentil)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon cumin/coriander powder
  • ¼ cup water
  • Oil to deep fry the patties
  • FOR CHUKAUNI:
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ red onions (optional)
  • 2 medium size potato
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon m,mustard powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seed
  • 2 dried red chili
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon oil
Instructions
  1. For Batuk :
  2. Soak the lentils overnight. I used four different types of lentil (Black, yellow, red and green (mung Dal)).
  3. Blend the lentils with all the ingredients (doesn't have to be very fine consistency), add some water to make it easy to blend.
  4. Heat oil in medium size pan.
  5. In order to make the shape of the batuk , I used a small Ziploc bag. Make a ¼ inch hole at the end of the bag and release the batter in a small circular motion.
  6. Deep fry it until golden brown.
  7. For Chukauni:
  8. Boil two medium size potatoes.
  9. Cut into cube size.
  10. In a medium size mixing bowl, add the potatoes, red onion (optional), 1 cup yogurt, salt , mustard powder, chili powder.
  11. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil and saute fanugreek seed and dried red chili until it turns black in color and add turmeric powder to the oil before pouring it over the chukauni mixture.
  12. Plain yogurt isn't sour here , you can always add few drops of lime juice but I like mine just the way it is
  13. Add ¼ cup of water and mix it together. ( Adjust water accordingly, we don't want it to be super thick in consistency).
  14. Adjust salt and chili to your taste.
  15. Now the Batuk can either be dipped in chukauni for an hour or so before serving or just serve it as a side.

Chat of Sweet Potato in Winter

Today is eighteenth of November of  2017 .From two days I am feeling much cold.We love The winter season  is special as winter food is benefecial. The days are passed with orange ,hot tea and other salad items for me which are befecial to me and I love sweet potato chat .Shakarkandi Ki Chaat is slow roasted sweet potatoes over coals, peeled, cubed and topped with salt, spices and orange or lemon juice, all this the expert vendors do in minutes and serve it over a banana leaf or paper with toothpicks inserted in the sweet potatoes for convenient eating as you go about your business. The smoky aroma of coals mingled with cooked sweet potatoes and fresh citrus is very hard to resist as you walk by, and there really is no need to resist because this is as healthy a snack as one can wish for and keeps the tummy filled up for a long while.

Sweet potatoes contain Omega 3, fatty acids magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc and vitamins A, B, C, K and E.Sweet potato is considered as an excellent source of natural, health-promoting compounds known as beta-carotene and anthocyanin. Beta-carotene is known to reduce the risk of several chronic diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts. Anthocyanin fights pigmentation and provides anti-inflammatory benefits to the skin. Vitamins A, B, and C have antioxidant properties that help in fighting against damage caused by free radicals

Recipe

2 medium-sized sweet potatoes
Half a lemon
Chaat Masala, to taste
Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees
Pierce the sweet  potatoes a few times to stop them exploding in the oven.  Roast for about 30-45 minutes – they should feel soft but not mushy when pierced with a knife.
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into dice, sprinkle with masala and lemon juice and dig in.

The bhajan is going on .I am too busy with guest ,my mother has been busy with pundits here to worship God with lyrics and I love her being active in such rituals.Rudree Puja is a regular ritual at my home and God Shiva comes frequently in ritual area in the form of pictures and other holy items at home.

‘Rudri’ means ‘Shiva – the Benevolent’, ‘ the Destroyer of Evil’ and ‘Puja’ means that which is born out of fullness. Through this Puja one can aim for inner peace and fulfilment. In this Puja, Lord Shiva is worshipped in his Rudra form. The reason Rudri puja is done because the world is a play of energy: negative and positive. When we pray to Shiva – the Lord of transformation – the entire negative energy around us in form of disease, depression, and unhappiness gets transformed into peace, prosperity and joy. Then peace surrounds us in body, mind and soul.

This Pooja is performed with a crystal 'linga'. Each ancient mantra that is chanted gets absorbed in materials like curd, milk, ghee, honey etc. which are used as offerings in the Pooja. It is then offered to Lord Shiva with reverence, love and gratitude. Specially trained Pandits and Veda students from the Veda Agama (Vedic school) perform this special Pooja. The chanting of the mantras is so pure and meditative that it takes one to a different plane.

An offering called ‘rudri’ is made to Lord Shiva. Devotees need to pay the fees for the size of ‘rudri’ they wanted to perform. The priest performs it at any shrine to Lord Shiva or at the home of a devotee. ‘Rudri’ is offering o Devotees make additional offerings of fruits, sweets and other food items including coins or banknotes.

Devotees also make offerings of lakh batti, lighting of one hundred thousand (125,000) wicks soaked in oil in addition to the regular offering for achieving a special wish.My mom keeps on busy in such ritual as her life has been scheduled to such programs. As an observer I keep on clicking her photoes only.I love all my relatives celebrating with her.

Ye Dosti Ham Nahi Chhorenge

Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge
Todenge dam magar tera saath na chhodenge...
Ae meri jeet teri jeet, teri haar meri haar
Sun ae mere yaar
Tera gham mera gham, meri jaan teri jaan
Aisa apna pyaar

Jaan pe bhi khelenge, tere liye le lenge
Jaan pe bhi khelenge, tere liye le lenge
Sab se dushmani

Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge

Todenge dam magar
Tera saath na chhodenge

Logon ko aate hain do nazar hum magar
Dekho do nahin
Arre ho judaa ya khafa ae khuda hai dua
Aisa ho nahin

Khaana peena saath hai
Marna jeena saath hai

Khaana peena saath hai
Marna jeena saath hai

Saari zindagi
Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge
Todenge dam magar tera saath na chhodenge...

The song on radio is going on .I am standing at Nehru Place Metro Station ,and the friends have been making a program to visit Rajghat area of Delhi,I know the company will be very interesting but the meeting is interesting in itself ,the movie time discussion in Satyam will be another charm in Delhi and the movies of friendship I love most.

I love making friends ,I keep on chating in whatspp and facebook about the daily schedules and conversations warm up in input of the visuals sharing to eachother, hangout also helps a lot but viber has been an extra benefit to communicate during leisure time.

Friends are people we love to spend time with. They give us company when we are lonely, support us unconditionally and accept us despite our shortcomings.Friendships, in turn, prove their preciousness with time. When we graduate from high school, college and are scattered around the globe, our best friends are the ones who stick.

Most times the friendships that struggle to come together are the most genuine ones. This struggle I believe comes because most times that person is the mirror of us and it is hard to accept the friendship without judgment.

We need to have intimate, enduring bonds; we need to be able to confide; we need to feel that we belong; we need to be able to get support, and just as important for happiness, to give support.

There is a difference, however, between a large network of friends and a tribe. While friendships can be numerous and range from the near-familial relationship to the pleasant acquaintance, a tribe is typically a smaller group comprised of those friends who are closest to you. A tribe consists of those friends with whom you feel most comfortable, most at ease, and most at home.

People who are positive and motivated and who lift up those around them are worth hanging on to. I have one friend who never fails to smile when she sees me.As someone who considers her friendships as life-sustaining as water, it’s been difficult to take a hard look at the relationships I’ve cultivated through the decades and to realize, with a heavy heart, that they’re not all going to last.

Friendship is a crucial element in protecting our mental health. We need to talk to our friends and we want to listen when our friends want to talk to us. Our friends can keep us grounded and can help us get things in perspective. It is worth putting effort into maintaining our friendships and making new friends. Friends form one of the foundations of our ability to cope with the problems that life throws at us.

Krishna and Sudama were very close friends. God Krishna had made Sudama his friend when he was studying in the Ashram of Guru Sandipani. In the Ashram he met with a Brahman child and because of his simplicity he made him his friend. After the education in the Ashram God Krishna became the king of Dwarka. Sudama was a Brahman, so he accepted the work of a true Brahman. But his financial condition was not very good. He was very poor. He was so poor that he had to starve for many days in a month with his wife and his children.

One day he decided to go to Dwarkapuri to demand for some money from Shri Krishna because he did not bear the condition of his wife and of his children. So he went to Dwarkadham. When God Krishna heard this news he ran to welcome him in the situation in which he was. When God Krishna saw that his friend Sudama is very poor and is suffering from poverty, he did not hesitate to give his all kinds of facilities and made him very rich man. He did it without any sacrifice. He helped his friend because he was in a great need. That is why his friendship is famous in this age too.

Besides, there are several tales from the Old Testament and the New Testament about the value of friendship and how true friendship is a treasure to unearth. A noticeable point is that, both the versions make a difference between the two broad meanings of friendship- one is a mere acquaintance, the other is a more affectionate relation.

In the Old Testament, Abraham is called the “friend of God” because of the intimacy of his relations. God speaks to Moses face to face “as a man…unto his friend” (Ex 33:11). The romantic friendship of Ruth and Naomi, the devotion of the subordinate Hushai for David, or the mutual relation between David and Jonathan - the Old Testament is replete with these interesting tales of friends and friendship.

In the New Testament, the relationship between Jesus and his disciples clearly depicts how human friendship can constantly grow. From being teacher and disciple, to lord and servant their relationship finally grew to an unparalleled friendship.

The story of friendship is unlimited narration which has multiple spaces to deal and the analysis becomes interesting when comments passed on facebook and other multimedia sites we use in groups to interrelate eachother everyday and the communication remains under ,ye dosti ham nahi chhorenge.

Types of Diner, Food And Commentator

We live in a world of plenty, with more than enough food to choose from. Wander down any grocery store aisle and marvel at the options in every category. But what influences which foods we decide to buy and eat?

We eat because we are hungry. We eat for energy. You might know some of the reasons we crave certain foods, but most of our food decisions come from hidden forces.

Food is and should be a pleasure. One of the scientific food principles that intrigued me most was the idea that we shouldn’t restrict our eating.

Types of Diners

Occidental Diners love to munch. They are often unconscious of their eating habits and do not discriminate between foods on the basis of nutritional quality, freshness, or calorie content.

Irregular Diners typically pay little attention to their nutritional needs. Eating is considered a mere necessity. Food is consumed like fuel in order to keep functioning.

Habitual Diners prefer all things in keeping with a certain routine. Many of their habits are acquired during adolescence or young adulthood, such as smoking, drinking or enjoying certain foods.

Types of Food

Food variety means eating a wide variety of foods from each of the five food groups, in the amounts recommended. Eating many different foods helps maintain a healthy and interesting diet which provides a range of different nutrients to the body. Eating a variety of foods promotes good health and can help reduce the risk of disease.

Foods are grouped together because they provide similar amounts of key nutrients. For example, key nutrients of the milk, yoghurt, cheese and alternatives group include calcium and protein, while the fruit group is a good source of vitamins, especially vitamin C.

Types of Commentor

A: What a wonderful dinner!

B: Thank you. I am glad that you are enjoying it.

A: Where did you get your fantastic recipes?

B: I grew up cooking. My mother shared her recipes with me.

Top Five Comments on Food

1. Keep as active as you can.
2. Eat off a smaller plate.

3. Just enjoy who you are."

A Live History of Delhi Man

A former Under Secretary in Indian Government Offices and the Executive Director of one agency in Delhi has lots of stories of linear history including politics, econimics, history and other newly emerged issues in locality.A man who was raised in Sarojini Nagar Delhi ,has been permanent resident in Nehru Place still has lots of enthuasism towards daily life.A story of a such a man who can have good analysis of realities in society as  a common man.

Surinder Soni, a legend , live story the then society.I remember how we used to listen him describing the narratives about the trains to Pakistan ,how his father reached to Lahore and returned with his parents to Sarojini Nagar being locked in train like a dead corpse and brought back his parents with help of his Brigedier Fufaji.I loved the narration of Lahor city ,which had lots of gold kept in basement as security.

The province of Punjab was never a Sikh Majority - it was a Muslim majority though, Sikhs ruled over the areas for long time. Only Ludhiana district of Punjab had a Sikh majority. After partition - the Indian Punjab became Hindu majority. There were Sikh movements later which led to further division of the states - where Hindu majority areas of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh were separated - and Punjab now having a Sikh majority.Even so, Sikhs make about 60% of the population of that state, while Hindus, Muslims, and Christians make the remaining 40%.

It is unfortunate that Lahore the seat of Sikh empire and Nankana Sahib - birthplace of Guru Nanak ji near it had a Muslim majority and had to go to Pakistan.  I remember the sad stories for long hours during winters with tea and I loved to question him lot.His eyes to be full of tears about such problematic experience of life he know train to Pakistans .It was 1947, and the border between the new nations of India and Pakistan had just been created. His family found themselves on the Indian side of the border.

The creation of India and Pakistan prompted the biggest mass migration in human history, as Muslims who were scattered across India and Hindus and Sikhs who were in Pakistan desperately tried to make it to the other side of the border. As people fled their homes, a wave of violence was unleashed with neighbors turning on each other. He describes how train stations in cities like Lahore, in the new nation of Pakistan, morphed into scenes of mass death. The platforms are literally awash with blood because a load of Hindus waiting on the platform to travel to India have been massacred, and another platform was covered with blood because a train had just arrived from India full of dead Muslims.

History is itself a matter of dispute as many narratives are still to be searched but ideas of a narrator who himself had seen the disaster is the live film you want to see and realize with family albums what happen to them and their families ,how poverty became a matter to lead a good life and how the life struggle make a Delhi man in truht Delhi. Delhi is Delhi,as it collects the voices for everyone and has the space for everyone who want to be merged in Delhi.

In general, one cucumber pickle contains between 1-35 calories and minimal fat.Since there is no heat involved in the preparation of pickles, they also preserve the nutrition of vegetables. Borders of Geography, Frontiers and Issues of Border in Bollywood Movies

There has been different issues relating borders  as we usually think of borders as geographical lines dividers that have some kind of physical presence or political meaning. There are various ways of approaching borders of identity, community, barriers, vision , negotiating borders and frontiers as critical reading across borders , language ,texts , movies , stories of self and home,  identity, past and present, living fictions and multiple identities , belonging and alienation,  other and different  in living in a locality all relate with border analysis.

The geographical concept of border as first developed in the 19th Century envisages borders as physical and visible lines of separation between political, social and economic spaces, often charged with nationalistic energy.Translation further complicates the concept of border. In some languages the border is a broader concept than the English word border, including the idea of limit, limitation or also of frontier.Borders can have political, historical, ethical, psychological and artistic implications and connotations.

What is emergent is a notion of ‘Critical Regionalism’ a culture of re-imagined solidarities with inflected manifestations of global without effacement of the local or national.Film technology, developed in the capitalist centre, arrived in India during colonial rule. It was part of a movement to promote indigenous enterprise and thus the idea of ‘Indian cinema’ was conceived.

The technology did not arrive in a vacuum, there was a certain cultural, political and social field from which some people, encountering a new technology of representation, devised ways of putting it to uses that was in consonance with prevalent values. The nation as a problematic is a constantly reworked category. It acquires new forms to express new temporal and spatial configuration, new dynamics of power and economic exchange and this is evident in films trying to encompass contemporary experience via overt allegorical strategies.

Nation is crucial for the schematization of not only political issues but also private lifestyles.Film as a popular medium emerged at a time when nationalism was one of the major political forces that shaped the destiny of Europe and America. And film history in the first half of the twentieth century was intimately linked with expression of national identity and competition among them. The power of cinematic text is discernibly ideological and as a conduit of political communication films have been a veritable space for cultural and political identity.

Korean border actually runs through the buildings where the two sides meet. It even runs right down the middle of the conference table so the sides can stay on their half. The DMZ has evolved into a dual purpose barrier. Initially its sole purpose was to protect each side from invasion, but as conditions in North Korea got worse the North beefed-up security on their side to ensure defectors wouldn’t be able to cross.

The Melilla barrier is approximately seven miles long, and the Cueta approximately five. They’re easily monitored and patrolled, and  both are lit up constantly at night. The European Union aided in the funding in the hope that it would deter illegal activity. Both have so far proven to be effective barriers, but they’ve increased tensions with Morocco.

All along the Maginot Line they built an elaborate series of bunkers, vehicle traps, guard towers and other fortifications strategically placed to make an invasion from the powerful German military very difficult.

The Berlin Wall is West Berlin became a democratic enclave surrounded completely by communist East Germany. Between 1945 and 1961 there was no physical boundary between the two sections. West Berlin had been rebuilt into a thriving modern metropolis, while East Berlin was drab and still full of ruins from the war.

Hadrain Wall is constructed a wall approximately 80 miles long from the North Sea to the Irish Sea. so it was primarily constructed from stone and earthen mounds. There were garrisons and outposts strategically placed along the route.

Australian Rabbit Fence, a nearly 1200 mile fence was built in the early 1900s. Virtually the entire length of the fence runs through uninhabited areas. In the late 1800s, someone had the brilliant idea of bringing rabbits to the country and  production of those rabbits in fenced areas was necessary for income.

Israel wall ,in urban areas a concrete wall stands as high as 26 feet. In rural areas it’s mainly a 10 foot high chain link fence topped with razor wire. Many have compared it to a new version of the Berlin Wall.

Chinese Wall ,the most famous section runs through the town of Jinshanling, where it’s been completely restored to its original state. This is its closest point to Beijing, making it a popular tourist destination.

USA Mexico Wall , a fence along the border with Mexico to curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling. Bear in mind this is a nearly 2000 mile border, most of which is rural desert.

German Border ,this was the barrier that separated East Germany from West Germany. All along these fence lines were towers staffed with guards trained to shoot on site. The final fence was about 100 feet from the actual border, meaning that if you were fortunate enough to get past all those fortifications guards could still shoot you before you reached the actual demarcation line.

I just remember ,Actor Salman Khan, whose film Tubelight is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian war, spoke about the futility of wars  , with hope that violence between nations could stop if those who order war are sent to the battle front.

Borders on being insensitive, disability’ on the screen in a half-hearted, caricaturist manner,in Bollywood, the disabled is either stereotypical or patronising, or they have used them as objects of pity, comic interludes, liabilities, medical aberrations, or burden etc dealt in Kalki Koechlin’s Margarita With A Straw.

Sanjeev Kumar, Koshish, also starring Jaya Bhaduri, depicts the life of a deaf and mute couple and their conflicts, their pain and struggle to survive in a rather insensitive society.  What keeps them going is their constant struggle and their persistence as they negotiate some of life’s greatest challenges, never giving up hope.

Sparsh, deals with the lives and feelings of other blind children of the school. Sparsh refers to the sensation and feeling of touch upon which blind people rely in the absence of sight. The film remains most memorable for the subtle acting of its leads, plus the handling of the issue of relationships with the visually handicapped, revealing the emotional and perception divide between the world, the "blind" and the "sighted", epitomized by the characters.

Sadma,The film is the st.ory of Nehalata (Sridevi), a young woman who regresses to childhood after suffering a head injury in a car crash. Lost, she ends up trapped in a brothel before being rescued.
Khamoshi, the story is about Joseph (Nana Patekar) and Flavy Braganza (Seema Biswas), a deaf and mute couple in Goa.

Nuclear-armed and arch rivals, Hindu-majority India and Muslim-majority Pakistan have fought four wars but have many common cultural characteristics, including shared languages. In their spoken forms, India’s Hindi and Pakistan’s Urdu are practically identical.

Screening Bollywood films in Pakistan was first banned outright after its 1965 war with India. As a result, the Urdu film industry gradually died out by the 1980s.The ban continued until 2007, when it was lifted by military dictator General Pervez Musharraf, as a result of a period of detente in relations between India and Pakistan.

Tere Bin Laden was banned in Pakistan because it dealt with the controversial issue of slain Al-Qaeda head Osama Bin Laden and hit them where it hurts the most. The light-hearted movie was accused of containing vulgar and objectionable dialogues, abuses and derogatory remarks and was also labelled as anti-law enforcing agencies of Pakistan..

Khiladi 786's poster was launched in Pakistan, it immediately led to the banning of the film because of the religious significance of numerals '786' among Muslims.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan saw Shah Rukh Khan play an army officer in the Indian Army’s bomb disposal squad. The movie got banned owing to certain dialogues which hinted at the Pak army.

Ek Tha Tiger, the plot of the movie dealt with altercations between the intelligence agencies of India and Pakistan i.e RAW and ISI respectively. No wonder, the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer spy flick was declared 'problematic' and put on indefinite hold in Pakistan.

Agent Vinod got banned just days before its scheduled release owing to its plot which established Pakistan's ISI as the anti-India element.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is an inspiring tale of a common man who rises above all odds to fulfill his dreams and goes on to be known as the 'Flying Sikh of India',it travels through the troubled past of India-Pakistan partition ,which ultimately led to the banning of the film.

Issues of Border are not limited to geography only ,it also deals with frontier and negotiating borders and different Bollywood movies often portray the real scenerio of such issues and narrate the trauma in realistic way and which leads a clear vision of borders with multiple perspectives to have broader analysis of the same issue .
